Found these really cute bunny boxes and mini carrots at the dollar tree and thought they would make a cute counting activity. Michael is learning to match numbers to their amounts and this is a fun way to make it concrete. I kept one box as 0 so he could compare zero to the other numbers.
He does well with the small numbers but does not want to take the time to count out the 7, 8, or 9 carrots to complete the boxes. When we do it together he is more excited to complete the activity. I'd like to see him
take out the tray independently at some point.
