Michael is now on a "big boy bike"!  He likes to ride it down to the end of the road and circle around the cul-de-sac.  He is a bit wobbly but very earnest in his desire to balance the bike.  Still a bit cautious but his independence is growing.  Yesterday he saw a boy on a bike without training wheels and said he was ready for two wheels.  I told him to practice a little longer with the training wheels before we take them off.
